My parents are the local soup kitchen for the wintering birds, and they have several (probably 6 at least) feeders around their house. I think they have to fill a couple of the feeders as often as every other day because there are so many birds! These, by far, are not the best bird pictures I’ve ever taken, but they’re pretty birds, so I’m going to post them anyway. House Finches (the yellow-ish gold ones) and Red Breasted Finches (the red-headed ones (I know, duh!)).
Have a wonderful week!

Thank you to my mother, Donna, who reminded me of their real names . . . .
“Ahhhh…Amy. Earth to Amy. What did your mommy tell you about the birds? The “GOLDISH YELLOW ONES” are GOLDFINCHES…the ones with the red heads and chests are house finches. As for Red Breasted Finches, I think the bird guide authors would like to speak to you. You may have just discovered a new species. Let me think . . . “finchius amyii” ?”
