My friend, Kathy, is a Creative Memories consultant, and this past weekend, she hosted a Great Gathering Scrapbooking get-away at Emigrant Springs State Park. Harley, Katelyn, Reagan, and I met my mom there and camped for the weekend. Mom & I got a lot of scrapbooking done, managed to re-organize all our “goodies”, and had a great time hanging out together.
Some pictures from the weekend:
Isn’t this how you’re supposed to hold the scissors?
Mom. Doesn’t she look thrilled?
Reagan and Harley stayed inside after Katelyn got hurt and kept her company while Mom & I watched her for signs of concussion. The three of them had a great time making special stuff.
They ran and ran and ran all day long, and once they finally sat still for more than 20 seconds, they crashed. How peaceful and beautiful they look.
On the last day, Kathy held an auction with all the “money” we earned over the weekend. I managed to purchase the project tote, which is what I really wanted, and I was happy about that.
Reagan and her new best friend, Dana, spent part of the day Sunday chasing grasshoppers and putting them in Reagan’s shirt. She had a blast!
Here we are, the whole gang.
I had a great weekend, and I can’t wait to go back duirng the one in April (April 19-22 for those of you who might want to join us)!
