My Day

It was not the best birthday in my 37 year history.  It was also not the worst.  I don’t feel well.  I had a rough night.  I had six (yes – you read that right) subs in a building of only 17 teachers, which meant I had to be at work extra early.  Knowing this, I did not wake up in the greatest of moods.

However, when I went to leave for work, this is what awaited me in the garage:

Aaron has been working really hard to get the garage cleaned up enough I could park in it finally.  We still have a little work to do, and my car is filthy, but who cares, its progress!  It was a simple, but HUGE bright spot in my day.

Then, part way through my morning, this lovely surprise arrived:

Two great bright spots from one great man.  Love him!

So, even though it wasn’t the birthday of my dreams, it was {GOOD}, and I felt {Loved}.

  • I am alive and healthy.
  • I have four beautiful, healthy daughters.
  • I have a family who loves me unconditionally.
  • I am blessed.

Thank you to everyone who is a part of my life, you make rough days like this turn into true treasures.
