So the reason I was in Heppner at all today was because Emma was being given an award. We knew it had something to do with Math, but we didn’t know anything specific. She has really struggled with Math, but this year, it finally seemed to click for her. She started the year really struggling and having to work extra hard just to pass her class.
The award she received today was “Most Improved Junior High Math Student”. We are all so very very proud of her! She worked so hard to get here, she completely deserves it!
And, because it’s so embarassing when you have to get up in front of the entire school, we high-five the Mustang, and then beat cheeks off the floor. 🙂
