Aaron’s dad & step-mom, Mick & Susan, have some hanging baskets on their deck. Apparently, this year, a robin decided to take up residence in one of the baskets and built her nest there. She had four GORGEOUS blue eggs she was taking care of. I was able to grab a few pictures while we were there last weekend, and I was hoping to follow the cycle of the eggs. Unfortunately, at some point in the past week, the eggs were destroyed and eaten by a magpie. I am so disappointed – I was hoping that the gilrs and I (with the help of Grandpa and Grandma) could follow the robin and her family this spring. Maybe we’ll get lucky and next spring a robin will decide to live at our home. (click the images to see them larger)
Happy day, everyone. More coming soon.
