Emma’s Basketball Season. Her first game was last Thursday, and it was GREAT to be able to just sit and watch. I did find it hard at times not “coaching” from the bleachers, but I promised myself that I wasn’t going to be “that” parent. You know, the one who is always telling their child what to do better and yelling at them from their seats instead of just letting the coach do their job. At any rate, it was a blast watching Emma and her friends play. They were playing one of the other Irrigon teams, so I knew girls on both teams. It was a lot of fun.
Some of these aren’t the best quality, but I love them anyway. Here’s my girl, playing the sport she loves. What a little dynamite! Even though Emma’s team lost point-wise, I think they had a great time playing.
It’s hard to believe another week has ended and we’re getting ready to start a new one. I never realize how quickly time passes until the weekends come and I have to get ready for another week at school. Maybe now that my season is over, time will slow down a bit. I can’t wait to see more of Emma, and watch her improve.
