Yesterday, I traveled to Lyle, Washington, to do a re-shoot of an 18-month little boy, Chase, whos session in May didn’t go as planned. Chase is the son of one of my girlfriends from high school, Jenny. To see a couple pictures from his two sessions, check out my business blog.
Harely and Reagan went with me, and we had a great day! I have never traveled Highway 14 before, so we took it all the way there and back. On the way back, we stopped at Stonehenge so the girls could explore a little.
Jenny’s step-mom, Andy, has a gorgeous yard, beautiful landscaping, and TONS of daylillies (which I love). Here’s a couple of my favorites.
Of course, no adventure in our family would be complete without pictures of my gorgeous girls. The two of Reagan are from the Nature Trails yesterday morning while Harley was at swimming lessons ~ Regan was feeling particularly left out, so we went hiking & looking for “aminals”. The pictures of Harley were taken at Jenny’s Dad & Andy’s house.
Reagan and I were leaving the Nature Trails heading to pick up Harley when I saw this piece of grass just standing there and I was compelled to get out and take a picture of it. Notice the little circles of light behind it? They’re called bokeh, which is a unique effect you get using a good camera lens and the way light falls. It’s a good thing ~ bokeh is awesome!
