One of the reasons we made the trip to Cove over the holiday weekend (the same weekend as the infamous cupcake eating incident) was so that we could take the girls to see the elk at the feeding station in North Powder.
This is Scooploop. Isn’t he pretty?
Reagan got an up close and personal lesson in the qualities of elk teeth (the ivories).
These two gentlemen (and I use that word loosely) decided to show the ladies just how powerful they are. In the first picture, the cow seems to be saying, “Seriously? You’ve got to be kidding me.”
This guy was laying down the whole time we were there until we started to leave, and then he stood up.
And then, he let us know exactly what he thought of us. 🙂
The beautiful horses that pull the wagon.
After the elk, we headed to Cove for the rest of the day and night. It was a great two days away from home.
