Welcome to To Do Tuesday – October 9
Before I do anything else, I have to wish our gorgeous brown-eyed girl a happy birthday! Harley, we love you tons, and we are super proud of the amazing young woman you are! Happy Birthday!
Christine at Stitch ALL The Things hosts To-Do Tuesday. TDT is a great weekly motivator to finish projects and (for me) to keep my To Do List manageable.
My To-Do list from October 2:
1. Petite Stitchery Pattern Test
2. Dri-Fit Hoodie for Me
3. Try Not to go Crazy with Todd Gone
One of the best things about creating and following this list is that it has forced me to be realistic. I used to plan tons and tons of projects, and then I would get frustrated when they didn’t get finished.
I knew with Todd leaving last week that I would not get many projects finished, so I kept them simple and easy.
1. Petite Stitchery Pattern Test
Testing is just getting ramped up, so I don’t have any progress to share, but I will share the gorgeous fabrics I’m using for this test
2. Dri-Fit Hoodie for Me
DONE! I even wore it during my time in Corvallis last week (see below).
3. Try Not to go Crazy with Todd Gone
Well, that didn’t really happen. Unfortunately, Harley got really sick last week, and I had to make a racing, emergency trip to Corvallis to take care of her. Harley ended up having a severe kidney infection
Wrap-Up
I’m hoping I will have pictures from the Petite Stitchery pattern test to share next week. In addition, Todd, Troy, and their dad, Glenn, got home from Canada two days ahead of schedule, so I would really like to write up a short post about his trip. Or have him write it for me
For now, I will say that all three of the guys were successful, and they had a great hunt. The mighty hunters.
This week’s to-do list:
1. Petite Stitchery Pattern Test
2. Winter Wardrobe Project
3. Write Todd’s Canadian Adventure Post
Are you working on anything fun this week?
Nature Girl. Mom. Wife. Friend. Photographer. Sewer. Crafter. Artist.
To borrow a phrase – “Yeet Ye Riche”
Oh, I am so sorry your reason for having to be with Harley was because she was sick! I hope she is feeling much better now! Love that hoodie too! I always love seeing the pieces you create and add to your wardrobe!
