Welcome to To Do Tuesday – December 5
Christine at Stitch ALL The Things hosts To Do Tuesday. TDT is a great weekly motivator to finish projects and (for me) to keep my To Do List manageable.
My list from November 28:
1. Christmas Project Sewing
2. M4M & P4P Holiday Testing
3. Fun Projects
I hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather as we head into winter (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere)! We got our first snow over the last week, and I am thrilled! I don’t love driving in it, but it sure does brighten up the gray ugliness of winter! We haven’t had a lot on our plates the last week, which has been really nice. I finished up several projects, and crossed several items off my Christmas Project list! Todd and I spent Saturday with two other couples wine-tasting, and then we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Plateau, which is a fancy-schmancy restaurant at our local casino. We had a great day, wonderful company, and amazing food!
Now, on to my list!
1. Christmas Project Sewing
My list is dwindling, and I am finishing projects! Woo hoo! I can’t wait until after Christmas to share them!
2. M4M & P4P Holiday Testing
The holiday project testing I am also doing for Made for Mermaids and Patterns for Pirates is so fun! Patterns for Pirates is sharing five days of freebies (December 4th-8th), and Made for Mermaids is celebrating 12 Days of Freebies. I have finished all my projects, and I can share as they go live on each site. I am calling this project finished even though I can’t share them all yet.
Patterns for Pirates released this super easy head warmer for Day 1, and the Emoji pillows for Day 2. Click the images below for the tutorials.
Made for Mermaids has released several freebie patterns so far, but the only one I’ve made are these adorable Mason Jar Pincushions.
3. Fun Projects
I had no idea what to wear for our Saturday adventure. It was a tricky decision because I wanted to be comfortable during the day, but also put together and dressed up for dinner. I didn’t have anything in my closet that fit the bill, so I made myself a new outfit! This weeks fun projects are a new Favorite Tee made out of gorgeous mushroom colored crushed velvet and SOS Pants made out of micro suede. Both fabrics are from Mily Mae Fabrics, and both patterns are from Patterns for Pirates.
I started a new pattern test this week from the DIBY.Club, and I will add it to my list.
My to-do list is growing and shrinking!
1. Christmas Project Sewing
2. DIBY.Club Pattern Test
3. Fun Projects
Are you working on anything fun this week?
Nature Girl. Mom. Wife. Friend. Photographer. Sewer. Crafter. Artist.
To borrow a phrase – “Yeet Ye Riche”
Yay for finishing items on the list! It sounds like such a fun day out and when I saw your top in the first picture I wondered if you made it for that day… And as I read more I realized you had! I love the crushed velvet! Enjoy the snow and the holiday season!
Thank you, you, as well!
