I ran across the Moda Sampler Block Shuffle 2015 project at Bear Creek Quilting Company an decided it would be a fun project to try. I’m a bit behind on making/posting the blocks, but since no new patterns are going to be posted over the week of Christmas, and I will be done with the gift sewing I have to do, I am confident I will be able to get all caught up.
For this project, I am using the fabric Good Neighbors designed by Amanda Jean at Crazy Mom Quilts. The fabric is sold exclusively at Connecting Threads.
Block 13 was fun. I feel like I’m really getting the hang of making the flying geese and learning to piece blocks together without making drastic mistakes.
Block 14
I love this block! I love the direction of the stripes playing off the direction of the white shapes on the pieces set on point.
Block 15
Block 15 was very simple and straight forward. 9 pieces built from the inside out.
Until next week, when I hope to be completely caught up on my block piecing.
