I have never had a “little black dress”, and I have always wanted one. In the 15+ years I have been searching for one, I have never been able to find one that met all the criteria I have. I went to return a pair of jeans – they fit, they just didn’t fit right – the other day at Kohl’s, and I saw this dress out of the corner of my eye. It works perfectly for so many different occasions, I can’t believe my luck. It was also super inexpensive, which is icing on the cake. I wore it to a job interview yesterday, and it worked better than I ever could have expected.
It. Is. Perfect.
I could wear it to a picnic in the park with a pair of flip-flops, or I could wear it with great accessories and heels and wear it to a semi-formal occasion. It’s made out of a great rayon, cotton, jersey combination so it doesn’t wrinkle!
It does have a pretty deep v-neck, so for the interview, I wore one of my t-let tank tops from Gettis Accessories under it. They are the best little tanks ever. They are short so they don’t ride up or shift around under whatever you’re wearing them with.
So yesterday, I wore it with the t-let, a pretty beaded necklace with a great pendant, and red heels (I did have the black heels with me, too, but I actually wore the red). I loved the look.

Know what I love the most about it? Look how thin my waist looks!!!
