Last Saturday, Harley, Reagan, and I went to Heppner to watch Emma’s last home basketball games of the season. Harley spent most of the night playing with my friend Sandi’s grand-daughter, Lucchese (pronounced Lou-casey), keeping her entertained, and just helping out so we could all pay attention to the games. By the time halftime of the Boys Varsity game rolled around, Harley was exhausted! It”s amazing the amount of energy a 3-year-old can sap out of you in such a short amount of time. Harley finally just gave up and leaned back against her Aunt Dawna’s knees and crashed.
She did an amazing job with Lucchese, and she can’t wait to see her again – I’m pretty sure the feeling is mutual!
Love you and your caring heart, Harley-Bug!
