We tried several times this year to get our family pictures taken, but every time we had them scheduled something happened and we had to cancel. Bound and determined to have something to send out in Christmas Cards this year, I dragged our family out yesterday for a shoot using my tri-pod and remote. We’ll get together with my friend Shannon after the holidays for family pictures without a remote.
For now, I have some family pictures I’m happy enough with. Better than that, I have pictures of four GORGEOUS girls that are perfect!

Ask anyone who takes pictures of groups, whether they’re families, sports, or whatever, and they will confirm – you ALWAYS end up with funny out-takes! Reagan was pretending to be Sid the Sloth From Ice Age. Aaron “smiling big” because Emma said she couldn’t tell if he was smiling or not. The best out-take is the one of the faces they all make when they’re trying to relax their faces. 🙂
