Fourth of July

We celebrated the Fourth of July twice this year.  Aaron, Harley, Reagan, and I went to a bar-b-que in Hermiston at our friends’ house, and afterward, we watched the fireworks in Hermiston.  We had a great time, and the kids had a blast!  The “big” boys (Aaron, Jason, and Casey) saw a bull snake and flipped out – their theory is “the only good snake is a dead snake” – so they cornered and killed it.  That’s when the kids started piping up about wanting to touch and feel it.  It was hilarious watching these big tough guys grossed out because the kids were petting the snake.  🙂

Sunday morning I picked up Emma and Katelyn and that night all six of us lit off fireworks in our driveway.  It was nice to just hang around the house and enjoy some time together.

I think this just about catches up all the blogging I’ve missed.  I’m sure there are a few things here and there I missed, but I managed to post the important ones.
