The girls and I have spent the last couple of weeks getting their 4-H projects ready for the fair. One of the easy projects they all decided to do was fleece tie blankets. They each chose a pattern for one side of their blanket and a solid color for the other side of it. They did all their own cutting and tying on their blankets. It was a good learning experience for all of them, including great lessons in patience. They’re not quite understanding why I won’t let them use their blankets until after the fair, though . . . 🙂
There was quite a bit of fabric left over from Reagan’s blanket once we evened out the ends, so I made Lucy a little scarf. She’s a diva.
