I helped my parents clean out their pond on the 7th. I was actually in Cove for a baby shower that ended up being cancelled, and hung around to help out. They have to take all the frogs, plants, and egg sacs out of the pond before draining it. Once it’s drained, they clean out all the debris from fall & winter (leaves, small twigs, etc.), wash it down, and then refill it. After it’s refilled, they put all the plants, eggs, and frogs back in.

Well, apparently a couple of the frogs were REALLY REALLY happy about being put back in the pond with fresh, clean water . . . .
