I have been re-organizing my office this week, kind of putting the old away and getting ready for a GREAT New Year, and I stumbled across this picture from my mom and dad’s house over Christmas. It’s just their dining room table, but I love it! My mom is always so good at taking any old thing and making it look like a professional decorator put it together for her. It’s not really obvious in the picture, but the birch log is laid on a bed of greens and holly, then all the candles around it. It’s very peaceful to me. It’s home.
