I have said before how thankful I am for Lindsay and her influence in my life, and I am continually surprised at how knowing her has encouraged me on a day to day basis, even though we have never met in person.
I was getting ready for the IJSHS Open House, which was tonight, when I heard my name through the front door of the school. When I turned, there stood Lindsay ~ I was shocked, ecstatic, and thrilled to finally be seeing her in person. It was, for me, though, like greeting a dear old friend.
She brought me the sweetest card, and this beautiful little lady, who’s name is “Happiness”. She’s perfect. She has a special little home on my desk next to my computer now, to forever remind me of the person who brought her to me. She will always bring a smile to my face.
Thank you, Lindsay, I am truly blessed to call you my friend. I am thrilled to have gotten to “know” you through our blogs. Thank you for helping me be a better person by encouraging me through the great times, as well as through the struggles.
