I found this quote today and thought instantly of my parents:

Okay, so the quote is about a “boy”, but who cares. I had the nurse, seamstress, washerwoman, cook, teacher, angel, and saint, AND the guide, exemplar, and friend PLUS so much more that I couldn’t even begin to think of them all.

I grew up with the best fortune ~ two parents who loved me and taught me to be the person I am today (though I didn’t always like the lessons).
