The CC Off-The-Shoulder Sweater and Fusion Leggings are here!
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by my friend, Kelly, who is one of the designers for Petite Stitchery & Company asking if I would be interested in joining their promotional team. Um, hello? Heck yeah! PS&Co is a PDF pattern Company. As a company, they strive to present seasonal pattern collections that are stylish, comfortable, and fun to create.
CC Off-The-Shoulder Sweater
We live in the Pacific Northwest, and our winters are cold. I love the snow and the season, but I hate being cold. As a result, I am constantly on the lookout for warm, casual clothing that can be layered easily without being too bulky. The CC Off-The-Shoulder Sweater fits those requirements perfectly. Perfectly named, the CC stands for “Cozy & Chic”.
The CC Top was designed for ultimate comfort and confidence, and it includes women’s sizing from XS to 3X. The wide cowl can be worn three different ways – fully off the shoulder, high shoulder, or front-facing. In addition, the pattern includes an optional small cowl.
I used this gorgeous “Monet in Denim” Brushed Hacci Sweater Knit from Sly Fox Fabrics. It was the perfect choice for my sweater – and so very warm! The CC Top pattern works best with two-way and four-way sweater knits with at least 50% stretch one way; however, lighter-weight knits with nice stretch and drape like brushed poly and jersey blends also work nicely.
Another new addition to the PS&Co pattern arsenal is the brand new Fusion Leggings. They are two-tone leggings designed for a pant look and a legging feel. The curved, v-shaped back waistband offers a unique design element and gives the leggings some dimension.
Designed with the beginner seamstress in mind, the Fusion Leggings are a great pattern to add to any collection. Furthermore, the pattern includes a large span of sizes from XS to 3X!
Sly Fox Fabrics provided this great combination of charcoal and black cotton spandex fabric for my leggings. It is the perfect amount of stretch and stability! With a bit of a riding style, the Fusion Leggings allow for a combination of fabric pairings such as cotton spandex with stretch corduroy, yoga knit with vegan leather, stretch velvet combinations, athletic knits, and more! The back waistband can also be used to highlight custom sewing panels
