When Good Scrapbookers go BAD!

Oh so very bad . . .

I will pre-empt this post with a disclaimer – we are not partiers, we don’t center our lives aroud alcohol, but once in a while we tear it up.  Nothing over the weekend was inappropriate our out of line for Emma Kate who was there with me.  It just looks bad.  🙂

Last weekend (actually a week and a half ago now), I went to a weekend long scrapbooking retreat at Emigrant Springs State Park.  Most of the other ladies attending showed up either Wednesday or Thursday, but I wasn’t able to go up until Friday.  Once I was on my way up, I called to see if anyone needed e to grab anything for them.  One of the ladies, who shall remain nameless (GINGER), said she wanted me to bring her a hot guy who gives massages.

So I bought her a Ken doll.  Unfortunately, for Ginger, Ken got a little carried away.  His clothes were missing several times, he managed to find a tattoo and piercing parlor somewhere amongst the pine trees, and he spent a few hours with his buddy Jose in the bottle with the golden lable.

This is Kathy – the leader of the pack – and the official mixologisgt of the weekend.

These bottles were all lined up on top of the ice maker, I thought they looked really cool (I had no idea there were that many flavors of vodka) so I had to take a picture.  What you don’t see is all the other bottles of wine and liquor on the side.  CRAZY!

As I mentioned, Emma went with me.  She will kill me for posting this first picture, but she was so intent watching a movie I just had to take it.

Emma is preparing for her 8th Grade Graduation Celebration (this Thursday, May 7), and she needed an updated picture for the slideshow.

I still can’t believe she’s going to be in high school next year.  Oh my goodness, where has the time gone?
