Camping with Emma

Last weekend, Emma was the only one here with us, and she wanted to go fishing and camping, but Aaron had to work. The two of us took off Friday morning (June 23), and headed to the mountains. We stayed up near Spring Creek, and played in that creek and the Grande Ronde River.

She’s getting so big and grown up, I’m dreading the day when camping and fishing with mom won’t be cool any more, and she won’t want to do it. For now, I’ll take it every chance I get.

I think these two pictures of Emma are some of my favorite ones ever, and they were just quick little snaps while we were on a hike.

A few of the creatures we saw during our adventures. The butterflies from an earlier post were from this camping trip, as well.
